Pulp Open in San Marco
Pulp has opened in the former Smoothie King storefront, 1962 San Marco Boulevard. More than just smoothies, Pulp serves coffee, teas and smoothies. A cup of regular or french press coffee will cost you $2.50. Pulp also has a walk-up window so you can place your order without even going in. They will be adding limited seating outside. If the rain ever clears it will be an ideal spot for your morning cup of coffee.

My husband and I live down the street and stopped by yesterday. I have to admit, our smoothies were possibly the best I’ve ever had. (And we’re recent transplants from South Florida where there are smoothie joints on every corner.) The ingredients were pure — no syrups or additives. Plus, they have loose leaf tea! Our only suggestion would be that they add more food type snacks.
We liked the design of the place, too, (and, of course, the location) but it DEFINITELY needs some seating and internet. We’ll go twice as much if there is seating. Otherwise, it will be hard for them to compete with Starbucks.
I’m pretty sure the owner was the gentleman who helped us, and the service was great. I think the hours were 7 am – 10 pm, every day but Sunday, which he says he “hasn’t figured out yet.” We love to see places in the square open longer hours.
Anyway, great place! We’ll definitely go back!

hello san marco. it has been fun meeting you all. looks like sunday hour are going to be 9a to 9p! open to 11 on weekends! we do have wifi available and table (indoor and out) came in monday. hope to keep meeting you all.
