In honor of what would have been Julia Child’s 100th birthday on August 15, 2012, Bistro Aix is pleased to present a special JC100 menu at Bistro AIX as part of the national Julia Child Restaurant Week, August 7 – 15, 2012.
Taking place in over 50 cities and 28 states, Bistro AIX is part of the official group of JC100 restaurants invited to feature menus inspired by the legendary Julia Child. What an honor!
Chicken Liver Pate - Ashley Farms Chicken Liver Pate with cornichons, coarse mustard & toast
Vichyssoise - classic French cold potato & leek sooup
Supremes de Volaille Archiduc - Ashley Farms roasted chicken with house-made noodles, pearl onions, Black Hog Farm spinach & paprika-cream sauce
Bouillabaisse - Maine lobster, oak-fired fish, shrimp & Bue Hill Bay mussels served over French bread
Charlotte Malakoff au Chocolate - almond cream with chocolate & house-made lady fingers
Creme Anglaise Pralinee - with almond praline
