What are you doing ten days from today? If you live or work in San Marco you need to be at the San Marco Preservation Society Patron’s Party. This annual bash is the place to catch up with neighbors, indulge in amazing local food, and enjoy all our neighborhood has to offer. This year’s event is at the Sanchez’s home on Sunnyside Drive. The location is prime for a party compete with an outdoor patio to dance the night away riverfront. The house is stunning from the outside, you know you want to go to this party just to see what’s inside. And you know if there is valet parking it is going to be a fabulous affair.
Neighborhood fave, AIX, will cater and a six piece band will be playing all night for all that dancing on the river. A silent suction boasts some amazing prizes including a private dinner from Chef Matthew Medure in your home, jewelry from Miriam’s and Underwood’s, artwork from Stellars, and a bike from Open Road Bicycles.
A great party is a great party. Who needs more than a great party? San Marco Preservation Society. You can’t stop the Preservation Society from continually improving the neighborhood. So not only will you have a great time but by buying tickets you will be contributing to SMPS’s next round of improvements to the Square including bike racks, street furniture and a highly requested community informational kiosk. Considering the two infants and a three year old I spend my day chasing around, I am happy to contribute money to these projects and feel no guilt about not actually physically going out to help install bike racks.
You can purchase tickets at smps.com or at the door on May 21st.
