Even dinosaurs need to cool off in the summer. MOSH is all about dinosaurs this hot summer, underwater dinosaurs. What lived in the water during the dinosaur age if you want to get technical. Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure will be shown at the MOSH planetarium throughout the summer. The film was created by National Geographic and features three dimensional graphics shown on the big screen. Watch a trailer for the film.

To kick-off the summer of underwater dinosaurs, MOSH is hosting an Archeology Road Show on Saturday. Local archaeological experts will be at MOSH reviewing your archaeological treasures. Jacksonville residents are invited to bring in any items they have that they would like identified.  “It’s like Antique Road Show only with bones and fossils,” said Kristi Taylor, Communications Manager of MOSH.

Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure kicks off this Saturday, June 11th, and will be shown Monday through Friday at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and at 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. For more information, check out the planetarium website.
