I don’t think it can possibly get any hotter here. But the heat is not going to keep me away from Affair in the Square tonight. Live music by Billy Buchanan and Free Avenue, wine tastings, late night shopping and art galleries open late are a welcome distraction from this insufferable heat.

The San Marco Bookstore has a special event for tweens. Local adventure/mystery writer, Jane Wood, will be autographing copies of her books. Wood’s stories captivate tweens with adventurous tales while also educating readers about the southeast, the setting for most of her books.

From 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. I will be chillin’ in the Square.
