Why should we be denied some of our favorite food at one of the best neighborhood joints on Mondays? Mondays are full unpleasantness like alarm clocks, being on time, getting kids dressed for school, and just the general Monday rush, we should at least get a good meal on Mondays. I guess the owners of Taverna felt the same way. Starting next week, Taverna will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. So on Monday when you start wondering where you should go for lunch, or dinner, – there is an answer – Taverna.
Along with new hours, comes a new summer dish, house-made herbed goat cheese ravioli with assorted vegetables from Twinn Bridges Farm and eggplant ratatouille. If you can’t wait until Monday, Taverna will be open for Father’s Day this Sunday.
