A million people are expected in Cape Canaveral to watch the Atlantis launch next Friday. Standing in a crowd of a million people in one hundred degree weather does not sound too appealing to me. I know it is a historical moment but I am just not that committed.

However, an air conditioned big screen view of the launch, now we’re talking. MOSH will be screening the launch on the spectacular planetarium screen. The planetarium will be open from 11:00 a.m. – 11:50 am.m. The launch is scheduled for 11:26 a.m. Guests can watch pre- and post-launch coverage on the huge planetarium screen.The launch screening is covered with regular museum admission, $5 on Fridays.
