San Marco Garden Circle, San Marco Preservation Society and the San Marco Merchant’s Association officially kicked off the Holiday Season in San Marco Friday night.  SMPS President, Doug Skiles welcomed the crowd.  The Hendricks Avenue Elementary School Choir & Recorder Ensemble  provided entertainment for the event.  Wendy LaPrade recognized  Suzanne Perrit who flipped the switch to light the beautiful Christmas tree.   City Council member Lori Boyer and Garden Circle member Karen McCombs gave awards to winners of the Holiday Window Display Contest.  Olive , The Write Touch, and Underwoods were each recognized for their Holiday Displays.   SMMA President, Desiree Bailey, wrapped up the event by reminding everyone of upcoming holiday events in the square and wished everyone a happy holiday season.
