DETAILS: Join Dr. John Hutchinson, an evolutionary biomechanist and leading expert on the anatomy and locomotion of dinosaurs, for a presentation on his research that has enabled scientists to reconstruct how T. rex might have stood and moved. He will tie in examples from his work on living animals like elephants, rhinoceroses, ostriches and crocodiles.
Dr. Hutchinson is the Director of the Structure and Motion Lab at Royal Veterinary College in London. He is also a design consultant for the museum’s summer exhibit, Be the Dinosaur.
Walking with Tyrannosaurus rex is part of MOSH After Dark, a fun series of adult programs presented each month.
