St. Johns River Celebration & Cleanup

St. Johns River Celebration & Cleanup

The 19th Annual St. Johns River Celebration & Cleanup will take place this Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 9 a.m. – Noon

This citywide cleanup offers nearly 50 locations throughout Jacksonville where the community can actively work to beautify our landscape and protect our natural resources. Styrofoam, plastics, paper debris, and cigarette butts on our roads flow directly to the St. Johns River and into our oceans. Let’s work to protect our river and keep our streets clean together.

Students can receive community service hour certificates. Advance registration is not required. Volunteers 18 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

If you would like to volunteer or be a site captain, please contact Andrew Dickson at
