Jacksonville – Detours will be in place beginning Friday, September 16, and running through Monday, September 19, weather permitting, as part of the I-95 Overland Bridge Project. The detours will occur between 8 p.m. Friday up to or until 6 a.m. Monday and are required for the contractor to perform bridge demolition. Motorists traveling eastbound on Atlantic Boulevard will be directed to Kings Avenue southbound to US-1 / Philips Highway southbound to Emerson Street eastbound then to Spring Park Road northbound. Motorists traveling westbound on Atlantic Boulevard will be directed on to I-95 northbound to Prudential Drive (Exit # 350A) then to Kings Avenue. Travelers are encouraged to watch for additional signs and be mindful of the 45 mile per hour speed limit within the construction zone.
