Meet the artist Kathy Stark this Thursday, May 11th at 7:00 p.m. as we transform the bookstore into the pages of her book, The Wilderness of North Florida’s Parks.
Kathy’s presentation will feature her original sketchbook journal pages and her faithful companion, Tanner. Kathy will sign the books and you can get Tanner’s paw-o-graph too!
This book is a unique blend of art and education, resulting in a family oriented book and traveling exhibit. Both will show the quality of life in Northeast Florida to locals and visitors. This project consists of a series of large scale watercolor paintings depicting the wildness and beauty of our area’s natural parks – city, state and national. Sketchbook journal pages about each park show its history, features and trail map.
