MOSH Turns 80!

MOSH is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year! The Museum is proud of its legacy of innovation. MOSH was established in 1941 as the Jacksonville Children’s Museum, with its first permanent home in Riverside. MOSH’s mission and name has changed several times in its history, but the spirit and commitment to education in Northeast Florida remains the same. Here are some upcoming events!

  The Lost World of Dragons is Here!
Dragons have arrived at MOSH! Visit the new, exciting exhibit that brings the mythologies of dragons to live!   Open now through Labor Day. 
Planetarium Night Live! presents The Cosmic Web
Planetarium Night Live! returns on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 7 p.m. with “The Cosmic Web” – an enormous structure in the Universe that holds everything up.   Experience this live discussion with immersive demonstrations!   Suggested for ages 13 and up.
MOSH Discovery Camp Enroll your 6 – 8th Grader in Camp today! Weeklong classes begin June 7 and conclude August 6. MOSH Summer Discovery Camp topics include: 
Sixth – Eighth Grade: Dissection If I Ran MOSH Into the Universe And more!
Camps are $200 for MOSH Members and $250 for Non-Members. Extended care is available.
