San Marco Preservation Society (SMPS) is hosting the Annual Spring membership meeting. All San Marco Preservation Society members are invited. Not a member, you can sign-up at the meeting tonight. SMPS will be awarding neighbors and businesses that have made a difference in our neighborhood over the past year.
Newly elected District 5 City Councilwoman, Lori Boyer, will host a meet and greet at the beginning of the meeting.
The fun starts at Preservation Hall, 1652 Atlantic Boulevard, at 6:30 p.m. Grab your neighbors and come hear about all the great things happening in our neighborhood now and plans for the next year. SMPS will be holding a vote for the proposed board of directors for the 2011 – 2012 calendar year. Come out and vote for the SMPS board.
SMPS works tirelessly to improve our neighborhood. This meeting is the time for you to hear what is planned for the year and voice opinions on improvements or changes you would like to see in San Marco. The more people involved, the more SMPS can accomplish. Individual membership is $30 annually and family memberships are $45 annually. Business memberships are $75.
