The chess teams at Hendricks Avenue and Landon College Preparatory School had a successful weekend at the City Scholastic Chess Championship. The event was held at Jacksonville Country Day School, who has now hosted the event for 8 consecutive years. Close to 100 students participated in this year’s event. Hendricks and Landon both earned 1st place team honors this year with many high placing individuals. Congratulations to all participants.
