JAN. 20th, 10 am – 2pm Sohrab Homi Fracis
The first Asian winner of the Iowa Short Fiction award, Fracis will be here to sign his newest book, Go Home and an anthology, We Can’t Help It If We’re From Florida, which includes his story.
JAN. 27th – 10am – 2pm Shenette Sparkes
The former standout on the UNF basketball team, Sparkes will sign her book, Training With a Purpose. The book was written as a weekly quote journal that inspires students and athletes to develop the heart of a champion.
February 6th – We kick off our 2018 Book Club with First Coast Connect’s book club facilitator, Stacey Goldring, and one of the most famous mysteries of all – Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None.

March 3rd – 10 am – 3pm, JAX BOOK FEST
The 2nd annual Jax Book Fest will be held at the downtown library. Meet and mingle with over 100 local authors. This is a great event for book lovers, writers, educators and children! We’ll have a pop-up shop on the 1st floor. Mark your calendar today!
